Dear Ahavah Community,

As you know, the economy is tightening dramatically. People are REALLY hurting. We are seeing this first-hand as we witness the applications for free food come pouring in.

Over the course of this year, our donations to families in need have never been higher, and the applications that we have received have never sounded more dire. Yet, although we have donated a record amount of food to families in need this year, we have not succeeded in raising enough funding to support all those applicants. However, as we have always done in this situation, we at Ahavah Farm have simply decided to cover the cost and fulfill our policy of “never turning away a hungry person.” That’s not an easy thing to do when our budgetary concerns are also piling up and causing major stress and worry heading into the next year.

We are asking for your help and we need it URGENTLY!

As you know, we have never turned away a hungry person in need and we have always honored our “pay-what-you-can” policy for nearly a decade now. In addition to this mission, together, we at Ahavah Farm and Ahavah Community Initiative have donated nearly $600,000.00 to our local community and EVERY SINGLE PENNY that has been donated to us has gone directly out the door to families in need in the form of freshly harvested food, just for them. We have no overhead, no paid staff and all classes and facilities are covered separately from donations. EVERY SINGLE DONATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE. No matter how big, no matter how small, your donations matter! WE PLEDGE AND PROMISE that every single dollar of your TAX DEDUCTIBLE (501c3) donation to Ahavah Community Initiative will be 100% utilized for people who need it the most – many of whom have illnesses and suffering families that are desperate for our high-nutrient, healing, food.
